We are a non-profit 501(c)3 public benefit corporation supporting the students and programs of Sierra Unified School District.
The education of America's youth is the key to insuring that our country will continue to grow, prosper and provide leadership in an ever changing world. Every young boy and girl deserves a well rounded education.
Naturally, core courses and college preparatory classes are very important. But so are the programs designed to enrich them in other ways, like music, drama, sports, foreign languages, FFA, 4-H and shop.
Not long ago, several Eastern Fresno County community leaders joined together to form the Sierra Foundation. The primary role is to assist the Sierra Unified School District in providing our youth with a full and rich educational experience, helping them "to reach new heights in educational excellence." Your participation as a member, volunteer or donor is welcomed and appreciated!
Students always come first, and our mission is to help provide support funding for their academic and co-curriculum activities.
SUSD seeks to provide facilities, faculty and equipment of the highest quality for our students. The Sierra Foundation Annual Fund will help make this possible advancement in all areas.
Share with others the vision and purpose of the Sierra Foundation and together provide opportunities for student success.
If you have an activity or project that is in need of funding, you are encouraged to download and complete an Application for Funding. Once completed, return it to the Sierra High School District Office. You will be contacted by a Sierra Foundation board member in regard to your request.
