How do we benefit Sierra Unified?
New Teacher Grants
The Sierra Foundation knows that being a new teacher in a district comes with incidental classroom expenses. This is especially true of first-year teachers in a classroom for the first time.
That is why for the third year we have awarded all new teachers to the district $250 for experienced teachers and $500 to first-year teachers. It is our way to welcome them to the district and help them get started in their classrooms.
